Play with diabetes

Half an year ago, a friend of mine asked me if I am interested in joining her work for a design contest, 2009 DiabetesMine™ Design Challenge. It was a competition about ideas on improving the life of quality for the patients with diabetes. With another friend, we three have shared ideas and opinions.

It was a great opportunity for me to work with two professional designers. They generated new ideas constantly. I was impressed by their passion and the quality of the final outcome. This experience taught me that business people talk a lot, but designers make a lot.

Design Marketing Lab is run by Jaewoo Joo, Assistant Professor of Marketing, College of Business Administration, Kookmin University. He holds his Ph.D. in Marketing from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and M.B.A. and B.A. from Seoul National University.
